Fresh Garden Salad
(makes 4 servings)
| 1 | quart (1 l) fresh garden lettuces (we like a combination of radicchio, arugula, bibb, and oakleaf) |
| 2 | tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice |
| 1 | tablespoon (15 ml) hazelnut or olive oil |
| 1 | teaspoon (5 ml) Dijon mustard |
| 1 | tablespoon (15 ml) minced fresh herbs (combination of basil, chives, mint, and thyme) |
- Combine the lettuces in a serving bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients. Drizzle over greens and toss to coat evenly right before serving. Makes 4 servings.
