Caffe Affogato

(makes 6 servings)

1 1/2 cups (288 g) fat-free frozen vanilla ice cream
3/4 cup (180 ml) hot espresso, made in an espresso machine, made with ground espresso beans in a drip coffee maker, or made with instant espresso granules
  1. Scoop 1/4 cup (48 g) of the ice cream into each of 6 stemmed dessert glasses.
  2. Top each serving with 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of the hot espresso. Serve at once.
