Mango and Banana Compote

(makes 4 servings)

1 large ripe mango
1 large ripe banana
1 tablespoon (15 ml) fresh lemon juice.
  1. Carefully peel mango, cutting the flesh into uniform bite-sized pieces, discarding the pit.
  2. Peel and slice the banana.
  3. Combine the mango, banana, and lemon juice. Divide between 4 dessert dishes and serve.
